Italy – next Maldini scores for Milan – sport

The Maldini tradition continues at the traditional Italian club AC Milan: 19-year-old Daniel Maldini scored the 1-0 in the 48th minute in the 2-1 (0-0) of the Rossoneri at Spezia Calcio on the sixth game day of the Serie A.

In the evening Atalanta Bergamo fought with national player Robin Gosens in the starting eleven a 2: 2 (2: 1) at champions Inter Milan. Ruslan Malinovsky (30th) and Rafael Toloi (39th) were successful for the Gosens team. Lautaro Martinez (5th) had put Inter in the lead, ex-Bundesliga professional Edin Dzeko (71st) secured one point for the defending champion. Federico Dimarco (86th) missed a hand penalty for Inter.

Meanwhile, teenager Daniel Maldini followed in the footsteps of his father Paolo, 53, and grandfather Cesare, both Milan club icons. Cesare Maldini died in 2016 at the age of 84. Paolo Maldini, who last ran for Milan twelve years ago, is the Lombards’ club director. Grandpa Cesare Maldini won four championships with Milan and the 1963 European Cup. Daniel Maldini started in Milan for the first time in Serie A, previously he had mostly only made short appearances.
