Israel News: Israeli army reports destruction of 130 tunnels

According to the Israeli army, around 50,000 people have fled from the north of the Gaza Strip via an escape corridor to the south of the coastal area. “Today we saw 50,000 Gazans move from northern Gaza to southern Gaza,” said Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari. “They are leaving because they understand that Hamas has lost control in the north and it is safer in the south.” In the southern Gaza Strip there is a zone “where medicine, water and food are available,” military spokesman Hagari continued. The escape corridor will be reopened on Thursday.
