Right behind the entrance to the school building they have set up a cardboard box with two Israeli flags on it and a few photos lying around it. “We call it the empathy corner,” says Avital Benshalom. Each student can put a letter in the box about whatever is on their mind at the moment. “They write letters to soldiers or even to families in Gaza.”
