After a good three weeks of mutual air strikes, Iran no longer appears to be reacting to a new attack by Israel. Are both parties now climbing back down the escalation ladder?
The fact that there were apparently no fatalities shows that neither side currently wants a further escalation. Both parties have achieved their respective goals. Israel has projected an image of strength and proven that it can attack Iran inside the country. And for the regime in Tehran it was a kind of missile test.
