The abused body of a young woman is found on a wasteland near a popular Kiel club. The club’s video surveillance soon gives Klaus Borowski (Axel Milberg) and Mila Sahin (Almila Bagriacik) a suspect: Mario Lohse (Joseph Bundschuh). The outsider regularly looks at videos despising women in the Internet forum of the so-called “pick-up artist” Hank Massmann (Arnd Klawitter). Since Lohse cannot produce a valid alibi, he is arrested.
But Borowski soon noticed signs that put the crime in a completely different light: In the immediate vicinity of the crime scene, he thinks he saw a “14” trampled into the soft ground, a symbol used by American neo-Nazis. When Mila Sahin found out that further attacks on women in Kiel were being propagated on hate lists on the Internet, she too was alarmed.

Tatort Review: Is it worth tuning in to “Borowski and the Fear of White Men”?
“Borowski and the Fear of the White Men” is a disturbing crime thriller. The thriller by director Nicole Weegmann develops a demonic pull, a dark tension. The fact that the audience is not once again thrown wooden sentences on an “explosive topic” at the head is not least due to the sovereign performance of the duo Milberg and Bagriacik. Inspectors: Borowski and Sahin are the crime scene investigators in Kiel
Commissioner Klaus Borowski, played by Axel Milberg, who was born in Kiel, has been investigating in the port city and Schleswig-Holstein since 2003. As a fierce, uncompromising loner at first, divorced, one daughter, he is sentenced to sessions with the police psychologist in the first few episodes. This turns into a shy love story with Frida Jung (Maren Eggert), which comes to an abrupt end shortly before the marriage.
Borowski as a detective figure has changed over the years, but remains surprising, sometimes taciturn, sometimes tender and often full of empathy. Whether in Sweden, Finland, on the ferries there or in Schleswig with the Danish minority – Borowski is on the move. From 2010 to 2017, Commissioner Sarah Brandt (Sibel Kekilli) was at his side. Since 2017, Borowski has a new colleague: the young Mila Sahin, played by Almila Bagriacik.
Sahin was transferred from the OFA in Berlin to the Förde at his own request. As an operational case analyst, she specializes in finding new investigative approaches for unsolved crimes. The basic idea of the new team: work together and not against each other and complement each other professionally.
