It’s going wrong. Several times. But at some point their lives are suddenly linked, in the time that remains. Director Till Endemann and screenwriter Astrid Ruppert have filmed the novel “And then one gets up and opens the window” by Susann Pásztor with the wonderful actors Iris Berben, Godehard Giese and Claude Heinrich. The result is a remarkably fine film that ARD will show on Good Friday at 8:15 p.m. Iris Berben plays Karla, the photographer with terminal cancer.
