The protest against the regime is remarkable and shows perseverance. The symbolism of tens of thousands of demonstrators is also important. But one should not underestimate the system in Iran, because the uprising will be decided there.

Solidarity is a great thing. Anyone who sees the pictures from Berlin can really hope that the last hour of the Islamic Republic will come: around 80,000, if not 100,000 people gathered over the weekend; Exiled Iranians and Germans showed solidarity with the courageous women and with the other insurgents who have been resisting the mullahs’ regime for more than four weeks. Such solidarity has its value. The women and men in Iran also see these images. You will encourage them even more.
