Investigation initiated against Boeing suppliers – Economy

The problems at Boeing’s fuselage supplier Spirit Aero Systems have legal consequences. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into the company. The reason given by his office was that there had been repeated problems with parts for Boeing. The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing is facing a change of boss after a series of safety defects in aircraft production. Dave Calhoun is leaving the company by the end of the year, Boeing announced on Monday. The 66-year-old was recently heavily criticized for the company’s handling of the incident on January 5th, when a part of the fuselage of an almost new 737 Max 9 broke off during the flight.
