Steven Pinker is on a train tour across Europe. His new book “More Rationality. A Guide to Better Use of Mind” (S. Fischer) aims to motivate people to make more sensible decisions. The SZ meets him on the ICE on his way from Amsterdam to Heidelberg. Shortly before, Pinker was stranded in Arnhem and a train was canceled. But he loves train travel so much.
