In October next year, the spaceship “Europa Clipper” will embark on a five and a half year flight to Jupiter’s moon Europa. The NASA mission is investigating whether there is an ocean beneath the moon’s surface that could support life. Engraved on the spaceship’s hull: a poem by Ada Limón. The 47-year-old is currently the United States’ Poet Laureate, making it something of a national representative of poetry.
