The center forward held his right adductor after a strike shortly before the break, before lying down, then held until half-time.
After returning from the locker room, he was replaced by the Austrian Marko Arnautovic. The former Mönchengladbach player had a good first period and came close to providing an assist to his attacking partner Lautaro Martinez, who crushed his shot too much.
