Almost all providers step in if the insured falls ill with Covid-19, but it is worth taking a closer look: Some insurance companies do not apply if there is a travel warning for the booked destination. If a quarantine prevents the vacation, some providers also pay the standard tariff. For others, this scenario must be additionally insured. In many countries, a PCR test is required before entry.
