Battlefield 2042 had a start marked by problems and missing content, which continued to spread to the player numbers of the first-person shooter. The developers at DICE but accept the criticism and try to turn the game into a multiplayer hit after all.
In addition to revisions to the gameplay and the existing maps, the seasons an important role. This adds new content that should bind and win back players in the long term. It has been running since August 30th Season 2: Master of Armsan insider has now revealed when the third season will start.
Battlefield 2042: Season 3 in November
The report comes from the well-known leaker Tom Henderson and his own page Insiders Gaming. According to plans EA the start of season 3 for the 22nd of November. It is currently still unclear which topic awaits us. The focus of the update, however, should be the extensive revision of the unpopular specialist system stand.
In “Battlefield 2042”, the classes that have always existed were broken up and individual specialists with their own Skills and Gadgets replaced. Due to the lack of role allocation, however, the team play suffered and fans demanded a return to the tried and tested classes early on.
In season 3 would like DICE meet this requirement at least in part and connect both systems. It has not yet been revealed what the future mechanics will look like, but if the start date for Season 3 is correct, it should not be long before new information is shared.
Regardless, there will almost certainly be one again new specialistsone new map, new vehicles and weapons and one Battle Pass, which can be used to earn cosmetic items. It can also be assumed that the remaining launch maps will also be revised in the coming months. The two cards Orbital and Renewal have already been equipped with new cover options and improved flag points.
