According to the police near Ansbach, an insect bite caused a traffic accident with three injuries. A driver hit the driver’s side of an oncoming car on federal highway 13 and left the lane, the police said on Tuesday. Previously, the 54-year-old had apparently been bitten by an insect on Monday and suffered anaphylactic shock – a severe allergic reaction. The 54-year-old driver, the 55-year-old driver of the rammed car and his 46-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital. According to the police, the 54-year-old was initially in mortal danger – not because of the accident, but because of the insect bite.
