Ingolstadt: Mother and child steal Tonie figures worth 1000 euros – Bavaria

A woman stole numerous Tonie figures from an Ingolstadt hypermarket in her child’s backpack. As the police announced on Tuesday, a store detective observed on Saturday how the 29-year-old packed the electronic radio play figures worth around 1,000 euros into the eleven-year-old child’s backpack and then sent them out of the store past the checkout.

The police found additional Tonies and accessories worth around 3,500 euros in the woman from Baden-Württemberg’s car. The investigators later found evidence that the woman was selling the figures commercially on the Internet. The 29-year-old is reportedly in custody. The child was placed in the care of the father.
