Infinite Machine: Futuristic electric scooter turns heads in a row

ELECTRIC SCOOTER

You just look twice: Infinite Machine from Brooklyn presents the angular P1 e-scooter. Removable batteries, Carplay and Android Auto are on board.

In big cities like Berlin, Paris or New York, electric two-wheelers are a good alternative to cars. With the increasing “electrification” of drive trains, a fresh design wind is also blowing. Manufacturers like BMW (CE-04), Cake and many others have long since emancipated themselves from their role models. Gone are the days when a scooter had to look like a Vespa.

Introducing P1 by Infinite Machine

The young New York-based manufacturer Infinite Machine hits exactly this note with the P1. The electric scooter is angular, bold and extravagant – and apparently not coincidentally reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck. Just look at this striking front light!

Technically, the scooter offers a 6 kW lifting motor that generates a peak power of 12 kW. Enough “juice” to accelerate the scooter to a top speed of 90 km/h. The scooter even has a reverse gear. The manufacturer specifies the range as just under 100 kilometers before it needs to be recharged.

The batteries can be easily removed from the aluminum frame and carried to the socket. Of course, charging in an e-scooter is also possible. The P1 offers further special features: It is one of the first scooters to have both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Various modules can also be attached to it, for example for transporting bulky items.

Price and availability

You can use the P1 at Infinite Machine Pre-order bindingly with a deposit of 1,000 US dollars. However, the manufacturer initially only supplies customers in the USA. Interested parties from Germany can be put on a waiting list. Initial production of one thousand units is planned. The price is just 10,000 US dollars (9,500 euros). We will introduce you to other electric scooters here.
