Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe, crowned

They were thirty to compete to succeed Diane Leyre but it was finally Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe, who won the coveted crown. She was able to pull out of the game just ahead of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss Franche-Comté, respectively first and second runners-up.

She succeeds Diane Leyre who won the title in 2022 by competing for Ile-de-France.

She just got her baccalaureate

Indira Ampiot, aged 18, has just obtained her baccalaureate and was preparing to start a communication license. Passionate about drawing since childhood, she intends to pursue a career in advertising.

The one who says she is “a great sportswoman” will undoubtedly need cardio to carry out the tasks incumbent on Miss France, if we are to believe the one who precedes her.

The tears of Sylvie Tellier

The ceremony will also have been marked by the tears of Sylvie Tellier, who left the Miss France committee after 17 years of good and loyal service. She will be replaced next year by Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005.

“This year marks the beginning of a new professional adventure for me”, launched Sylvie Tellier. “I wish a lot of success to Alexia Laroche-Joubert and Cindy Fabre”, she added before thanking Geneviève De Fontenay.

She then showed herself a little moved and on the verge of tears when talking about her family, present in the room for the first time since she joined the committee. “Let the show go on,” she concluded.
