In your opinion, is banning the practice in Provence a good or a bad decision?

The least we can say is that this decision is talking a lot. On Monday, the Council of State definitively canceled the exemptions granted by the State for glue hunting, making illegal this traditional practice in force in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Alpes-Maritimes, the Bouches- du-Rhône, Vaucluse and Var.

Intended for thrushes and blackbirds, this hunt consists of trapping birds on stems coated with glue, called glues. The birds thus captured are put in cages and serve, by singing, to attract others for the hunters.

And you what do you think ? Did the Council of State make a good decision, in the name of environmental protection and animal welfare? Or is it an attack on Provençal traditions? You can respond in the forumlaire below. Your testimonials will be used for writing an article. Thank you in advance.
