In the semifinals of “The Voice of Germany” the technology went on strike at a particularly important moment on Sunday evening. Two acts therefore had to tremble for a long time for unplanned progress.
In the decision show, each juror started with his two favorites. Who made it to the final could only be determined by the TV viewers by voting directly after the performances. A tremendous game for everyone involved.
Mark Forster (38) sent the singing couple Charlene (32) and Florian Gallant (35) into the race against the beatboxers from the Razzzones. The coach was happy not to have to choose the winner of the duel himself in the end.
The Razzzones made the hall riot with “Hey Ya” by OutKast. Forster was once again enthusiastic about his protégés. “You can’t get more ‘The Voice of Germany’ than that. It would be time for a band like that to make it to the finals. “

Then the decision: the audience voting was displayed on an LED wall after each duel. But this time just didn’t want to do anything on the wall. Melissa Khalaj joked: “We make it exciting – very exciting.” Meanwhile, Mark Froster tried to bridge the waiting time, fooling around with the beatboxers.
But the voting was still a long time coming. As a precaution, the moderator pointed out: “We’ll wait a little longer. Of course, work has to be done. The technology has to work. That has to work back there. ”It turned out to be excruciatingly long minutes for the talents and their boss. Then Khalaj had to announce: “We just have a technical problem. We have to take the graphic out again for a moment. “

The Razzzones meanwhile started beatboxing again to keep the audience happy. Then finally the names of the acts were on the LED wall. The moderator hoped: “Now it should work.” And lo and behold – the result also appeared: With 73.3 percent of the calls, Charlene and Florian had left their opponents behind. For her, the long wait was definitely worth it.
Her appearance could not completely convince the TV viewers: Ex-ESC participant Ann Sophie Dürmeyer (31) had hoped for a big comeback on “The Voice of Germany”. But their trip also ended in the semifinals. Your version of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” lacked the emotional depth of the original. Grater voice Sebastian Krenz (29) towered over the singer with 67.2 percent.
