ULM who lost control of his machine above the houses of the small village
from Auvillar. No matter how much he tried to avoid dwellings, his sail ended up catching on the corner of a roof. The sixty-year-old, seasoned pilot according to La Dépêche du Midi, hit the facade before hitting the ground.

No inhabitant of the scene was injured in the accident, and the pilot came out with “only” a fractured ankle. He was taken to the Montauban hospital by the Valence-d’Agen firefighters.
