Dramatic accident at work. Last Thursday, the firefighters had been requested urgently to rescue a person victim of a fall from a great height within a company in the industrial zone of Heric (Loire-Atlantique), north of Nantes. The 36-year-old man was transported in a condition deemed “serious”. He unfortunately died at the beginning of the week, at the Nantes University Hospital, as a result of his injuries, reports West France.
The accident occurred at the Solfab site, a company specializing in the construction of modular and prefabricated premises. According to the first elements of the investigation, the thirty-something would have been accidentally hung by the mechanism of a rolling door and would have suffered a fall from about five meters high.
A gendarmerie investigation was opened to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy.
