German soccer star Ilkay Gündogan said yes. He married his girlfriend Sara Arfaoui in Copenhagen.
The German soccer professional Ilkay Gündogan (31) is under the hood. The DFB player and Manchester City star got married!
“We are married,” said the athlete and his partner Sara Arfaoui shared on Instagram. They continue to write about several pictures of the newlywed couple: “We are really happy and can’t wait to celebrate with our families and friends.”
The photos were taken in Copenhagen, Denmark, according to the platform. Numerous fans congratulated in the comments. Among other things, Ann-Kathrin Götze (32) left greetings: “Congratulations, wish you a life full of joy and infinite love.”

Gündogan and his wife announced their engagement on Instagram about six months ago, in December 2021. “My man for life,” he had at the time joint picture of the two commented, on which, among other things, many heart balloons could be seen. He also explained that his partner would soon be called “Ms. Gündogan”. In the social network, the moderator, who also works as a model, already calls herself Sara Arfaoui Gündogan.
