The Detroit Red Wings are 1:4 behind in the NHL and their playoff dream seems to be dashed. But Seider’s team comes back, wins after extra time and goes into the last game with a chance.

Vice world champion Moritz Seider still has a chance of qualifying for the playoffs with the Detroit Red Wings on the last main round game day of the NHL season.

After a 1:4 deficit against the Montreal Canadiens, Detroit came back and finally won the ice hockey game 5:4 in overtime. The celebrated man of the evening was Lucas Raymond, who scored the last two goals for the Red Wings and now has 30 goals this season.

Before the last game, in which the Canadiens are again waiting as opponents, the Red Wings are tied on points with the Washington Capitals. The team from the US capital meets the Flyers in Philadelphia at the same time.

The Edmonton Oilers around Leon Draisaitl, who had already qualified for the playoffs, won 9-2 against the San José Sharks in their third-to-last main round game. Draisaitl was involved in assisting two goals. The Augsburg international Nico Sturm had no shot on goal for the Sharks.
