Defending champion Munich on course for DEL playoffs

EHC Red Bull Munich also clearly wins the second playoff quarter-final against Munich. In the game Schwenningen against Straubing there is the usual result: a home win.
Defending champion EHC Red Bull Munich is just two wins from the playoff semi-finals in Germany Ice hockey league removed. Former national coach Toni Söderholm’s team defeated the Grizzlys Wolfsburg 7:3 (1:0, 3:3, 3:0). In the turbulent game there was variety, especially in the middle section and only became clear in the final section.
Despite many penalty times, Munich came back with two goals shortly before the end of the second period after Wolfsburg had previously turned the game around. National players Maximilian Kastner (38th minute) and Trevor Parkes (39th) put the EHC back in the lead, which the champions extended decisively in the final section. Chris DeSousa (48th) and national striker Nicolas Krämmer (25th and 55th) scored their third playoff goals. Munich also won the first quarter-final 6:3. The third game will take place again on Friday in Wolfsburg. Four wins are necessary to advance.
Wild Wings equalize against Straubing
In the Straubing Tigers series against the Schwenninger Wild Wings, the Black Forest equalized. Schwenningen won 5:1 (3:0, 1:1, 1:0) and secured their sixth home win in the sixth game of the season for both teams.
In the other two quarter-final series, Bremerhaven against Ingolstadt and Berlin against Mannheim, the second games are scheduled for Wednesday.
