There were so many key scenes in this season of the RTL jungle camp that the final selection is difficult on the one hand, but on the other hand the search inevitably leads to Djamila Rowe’s broken printer. On Friday evening, Rowe began to talk about this, she said, “I wanted to print something, stupid, you know it” – and then she described an almost archaic struggle, as millions of Germans wage it every day against what is by far the most stupid and insidious machines in the world modern times. At the end of Djamila Rowe’s story, too, the printer was in the bucket, the desperation was huge, not a single page was printed.
