This time, the RTL donation marathon has a special background music. The title song comes from the cult band ABBA.

The 26th RTL donation marathon on 18./19. November 2021 has a musical surprise in store. The cult band ABBA, which celebrates its big comeback on November 5th with their album “Voyage” after 40 years, delivers the title song for the charity show. “I Still Have Faith In You” (in German “I still have faith in you”) fit “perfectly with the donation marathon”, says the station’s press release. After all, the RTL foundation “We help children” is precisely about this – “to give trust and hope”.

In an interview with RTL presenter Wolfram Kons (57) ABBA singer Björn Ulvaeus (76) raves about the charity project. He himself has four children and eight grandchildren, the ninth is on the way. “I always had faith in them all. I let them find their own way, allowed them to make mistakes and never pushed them in a certain direction.” Above all, children have to be given “love” and “freedom” and “believe in them”, says Ulvaeus.

RTL donation marathon for 24 hours

RTL will start the donation marathon for the 26th time on November 18 at 6 p.m., in which donations can be made to children in need for 24 hours. It is broadcast live from the donation studio once an hour.
