“I lost 9 kilos, there is really nothing to eat”, testifies a former candidate

After four months and 15 episodes, the 20-year-old Koh Lanta special had an unexpected end. It did not designate any winner, a first! The reason? The alleged cheating of several candidates including two of the finalists, Claude and Laurent. According to The Parisian, they would be several to have been able to feed themselves behind the production. Also according to the daily, the two finalists would have even threatened to strike during a test to obtain more food.

Alain, unhappy candidate in 2010, forced to give up after losing 9 kilos, assures him in “Estelle Midi” this Wednesday on RMC: “There is really nothing to eat”. “I did Koh Lanta in 2010 with Claude, everything went very well. He deserved to win, it was the strongest”. He deplores the attitude of Denis Brogniart and the course of the last episode. “Denis Brogniart should have said who had cheated. We should have given the money to those who had not cheated.”

“It’s like this season, we knew everything before. The last evening, some had the hope of a mea culpa but instead we learned even more ridiculous things”, tackle from his side Daniel Riolo, visibly very disappointed with the candidates. He also tackles the production which has attempted “a program to rehabilitate the show”.

“The program has been trampled on and thrown into the gutter, the audiences are catastrophic. I do not know how they will be able to recover but we will have to really clean up all that otherwise the program is dead, finished”, adds- he.

“Denis Brogniart should have emptied his bag”

Same story for Thierry Moreau, former editor-in-chief of TV 7 Days. If the audience was not terrible, he believes that the game can recover. But like Alain, he deplores the way this final was handled:

“It was dispatched in 30 seconds at the end of the program while the board is the place where you empty your bag. Denis Brogniart should have emptied his bag, everyone should have done their mea culpa. The other thing which has been mismanaged are the three cheats due to the fact that it is an “All Stars” edition with candidates who have an oversized ego and who know the rules by heart “.

According to Thierry Moreau, for the show to pick up, do not redo the “All Stars” edition soon and strengthen on-site surveillance, which is the case with the season currently filming.
