“I hope Putin will uppercut you”, Marc Doyer walks free after a complaint from the Elysée

He was finally released late Tuesday afternoon, after around ten hours in police custody, following a complaint filed by the Presidency of the Republic for “malicious calls and death threats”.

What was accused of Marc Doyer? The content of a message he left on a cell phone number attributed to Emmanuel Macron. On the evening of April 6, Picard dialed this number and got the answering machine. According to his lawyer, he then left a message asking the head of state what he knew about the side effects of vaccines.

Since the death of his wife in May 2022 from Creuztfeld-Jakob disease, Marc Doyer has blamed Pfizer’s anti-Covid-19 vaccine for causing his wife’s illness. A link which cannot currently be made according to scientists interviewed by France Info, in particular because of the long incubation period of this disease.

“You are no match for Putin”

What particularly interested the investigators was the end of Marc Doyer’s message. He concludes “with a joke: I hope you will take an uppercut from Putin, you are no match for him,” explains Maître Emmanuel Ludot to 20 minutes.

According to his advice, Marc Doyer was referring to a photo of Emmanuel Macron boxingwhich had been posted two weeks earlier on Instagram by Soazig de la Moissonière, the official photographer of the President of the Republic.

The complaint was ultimately dismissed. “No offense could be sufficiently characterized,” explains the Paris prosecutor’s office to 20 minutes. There [qualification] of malicious calls or messages would have required their repetition, and the explanations given by the accused ruled out the possibility of qualifying the comments made as threats of materialized death. »

“Active activist” for Emmanuel Macron in 2017

How did Marc Doyer, who is running in the European elections on Florian Philippot’s list, obtain this telephone number? “He was an active activist in Emmanuel Macron’s campaign in 2017,” explains Maître Ludot. He had candidate Macron’s cell phone. »

The lawyer questions the security of the Head of State: “We wonder what this number is doing in nature, still active,” he says.

During the search of Marc Doyer’s home, 13 firearms were also found, including seven undeclared. “All were the subject of a separate procedure and were handed over to the prefecture,” details the prosecution. According to Maître Ludot, these were “collector’s” weapons. The procedure was also closed without further action, adds the lawyer.
