While cleaning up the festival site, an excavator driver threw a tent onto his garbage trailer. Inside, however, was a sleeping guard, whom he was putting in serious danger.

An employee of a security service at the “Hurricane” festival in Lower Saxony accidentally landed on the garbage together with his tent. The man was sleeping in the tent after his night shift when it was seized by a crawler excavator.

The 23-year-old excavator driver, who threw the tent in the garbage on Thursday morning during the clean-up work in Scheeßel, had not previously checked whether there were still people inside. The employee ended up on a garbage trailer with his tent.

Fortunately, he remained unharmed in the action, as the police in Rotenburg announced on Friday. The police are now investigating the excavator driver and another employee.
