The headliner line-up at the Hurricane and Southside Festival 2024 seems complete: Ed Sheeran is now joined by Deichkind.

From June 21st to 23rd, 2024, Scheeßel in Lower Saxony and Neuhausen ob Eck in Baden-Württemberg will once again be transformed into meccas of the festival scene: next year, the Hurricane and Southside Festivals will again attract around 150,000 music fans. As the organizers announced on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the hip-hop and electropunk band Deichkind will also join the illustrious group of confirmed headliners.

The rest of the main acts were announced in September 2023: In addition to the Hamburgers consisting of Philipp Grütering (49), Henning Besser (44) and Sebastian “Porky” Dürre (46), the pop star Ed Sheeran (32), the Berlin rapper from KIZ, the British metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon and rock singer Avril Lavigne (39) take the stage as the main acts.

In addition to Deichkind, the organizers also announced numerous other names that will warm up the visitors. These include illustrious names such as Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Tom Odell (33), Danko Jones, The Subways, Fatoni (39), Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, The Hives, Marsimoto (41), The Kooks and Sum 41. Already in October The makers announced that Kontra K. (36), The Offspring, The National, Sido (43) and Giant Rooks have also confirmed their commitment to appear next year.

Last year, Die Ärzte, Muse, Kraftklub, Muse and Billy Talent were signed as headliners. Tickets for the two twin festivals are still available on the respective homepages; currently for 259 euros for the entire weekend. However, early birders benefit from a reduced price: it has already been announced on the Southside website that the festival pass will cost 279 euros from December 22nd.
