In Upper Franconia, a dog and its owner were attacked by hunting dogs while going for a walk. A police spokesman said Monday the hounds kept biting the other dog after they broke the leash. To help her dog, the 66-year-old intervened in Schwarzenbach am Wald (Hof district) on Sunday. The woman was bitten in the arm. Only when the owner of the hunting dogs came over did the three animals let go. The owner now expects a display of negligent bodily harm.
