This summer, the consumer simply ignores the German strawberry. It’s not her fault. The weather was almost perfect. Sufficient sun, hardly any hail, hardly any frost. Nevertheless, it is now in the supermarkets, dark red, full of aroma and of the best quality – and is still spurned.
