How can that be? “Tagesschau” keeps quiet about Islamist march | politics

The images cause horror in our country: Islamists waved an A On the march in Essen, Islamist banners carried banners with slogans such as “The caliphate is the solution” and waved flags reminiscent of ISIS and the Taliban. The thousand-fold shout throughout the city: “Allahu Akbar”.

Politicians reacted with dismay: state and federal politicians demanded consequences, Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir (57) demanded: “Anyone who protests with Islamist banners like yesterday in Essen is a fascist, anti-Semite, racist and must be named and fought against in exactly the same way – by all of us !”

But on Saturday, of all places, in Germany’s most important news program, the 8 p.m. main edition of the “Tagesschau” (ARD), there was not a word about it!

Friday in Essen: Islamists march with their banners

▶︎ The only thing the audience learned here was that “tens of thousands of people took to the streets in several German cities” to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinians,” for example in Berlin and Düsseldorf. The public broadcast ignored the fact that aggressive Islamists marauded through food with battle cries and extremist banners and flags, demanding the caliphate.

Remarkable: The report is illustrated by the “Tagesschau” with a photo in which demonstrators hold up the words “Ceasefire” (ceasefire). A photo that does not reflect the partly anti-Semitic and terror-glorifying character of the demonstration in Berlin.

▶︎ The article says that “a broad alliance of pro-Palestinian groups and the left-wing political spectrum” demonstrated in Berlin. And further: “The demands were diverse: from a ceasefire to freedom for Palestine.”

Then one of the more peaceful protesters is shown. The woman says: “I just hope that people understand that this spiral of violence is leading nowhere.”

Background: Israel is currently defending itself with a military operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which fired rockets at Israel from there, invaded Israel’s territory with its terrorists on October 7th, barbarically killed more than 1,400 people and took more than 200 hostages .

In fact, as usual, hate slogans against Israel were shouted at the demonstration and there were glorifying statements about the Hamas terrorists. Visitors to the coffee chain Starbucks, which agitators see as too pro-Israel, were harassed. As at almost all Palestinian demonstrations, the “liberation” of Palestine “from the river to the sea” was demanded, i.e. the destruction of the Jewish state.

After all: “several arrests” and the fact that the police confiscated several posters are mentioned. A police spokeswoman makes it clear that anyone who promotes anti-Israel or anti-Semitic chants or calls for violence is committing a crime.

About the demo in Düsseldorf it is said: “Many more people than announced took part in a demonstration in Düsseldorf. Left-wing groups, peace activists and trade unionists also took to the streets.” The demonstration was “mostly peaceful”. What is mentioned, however, is the confiscation of posters “on which the Holocaust was put into perspective.”

This is how the “Tagesschau” justifies its silence

However, not a word about the Islamist demonstration in Essen, which caused outrage nationwide. There even the men marched separately from the (mostly veiled) women, some of whom even showed the “ISIS finger”!

Veiled women show the “ISIS finger”. This symbolizes the strict belief in one God and was often shown by terrorist militia attackers

How can it be that the Tagesschau is keeping all of this quiet?

When asked, the NDR, which is responsible for the Tagesschau, said: “In the above-mentioned broadcast on Saturday, the Tagesschau focused on the large pro-Palestinian demonstrations of the day in Düsseldorf and Berlin.”

The remarkable reason: “The demonstration in Düsseldorf had significantly more participants than the one in Essen.”

There were also reports about the Islamist march online on tagesschau.de.
