What the word “acquisition” means can be read in the dictionary under acquisition: acquisition of customers, orders, funding or the like. So it’s about the money. In this respect, it was very significant what Bavaria’s Ministry of the Interior noted in April 2019 about an upcoming meeting between Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) and a member of the Board of Management of the TÜV Süd group. TÜV Süd CFO Matthias Rapp received this appointment in May 2019 “on acquisition by MdL Dr. Sauter”. The group wants to offer the ministry its cyber security services and ensure the security of sensitive data. MdL stands for Member of the State Parliament.
