Hospizkreis Ottobrunn presents its work at World Hospice Day – district of Munich

Anyone who has lost a loved one after a serious illness knows what valuable help hospice support can be. What hospice work and palliative care can do as an important alternative to assisted suicide will be shown by the Ottobrunn Hospice District on October 8th on World Hospice Day on the Rathausplatz. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the association will present its work on Saturday, which has the motto “Hospice can do more”. Seriously ill people help to make the remaining time dignified, support relatives in mourning, the association has been doing this and much more for 20 years. The wish wagon of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Munich/Upper Bavaria will also be a guest. Since July 2016, he has been helping seriously ill people in the last phase of their lives to fulfill a special wish. You can see this special vehicle and talk to volunteers. At its general meeting, the hospice group decided to support the work of the wish truck. More information about the activities of the hospice group can be found at www.hospizkreis-ottobrunn.de.
