Enough to defeat the authorities’ defense of the Stanislas private school. A recording published by Mediapart Wednesday January 17 clearly demonstrates the homophobic culture that has been rampant for a long time in this select establishment in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. The online newspaper reveals that until 2015, the school included Philippe Arino, “homosexual, Catholic and abstinent and promoter of conversion therapy”.
In an audio, Mediapart publishes part of two of his interventions on November 5 and 19, 2011 in front of 1st grade classes, interventions “which were available on the school website until 2013” according to the media. The theme of the course: “homosexuality”. We understand, for example, that “homosexual desire is the desire for rape”, “lesbian circles are harpies” Or “80% of gay people, it’s not very deep, it’s more of a fashion.” Mediapart also writes that Philippe Arino spoke during the religion lessons of Stanislas’s preparatory classes from 2012 to 2014, or during spiritual retreats of the establishment in Rocamadour (Lot) in front of 2nd year students.
After the publication of the vitriolic report from the Ministry of Education on the Stanislas establishment, thirty pages and a summary of homophobic, anti-abortion or promoting conversion therapy remarks, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra seemed to minimize the facts on Wednesday January 17. While announcing a “action plan”, the Minister of Education assured that the administrative investigation ordered from the General Inspectorate “does not report any acts of homophobia, nor any cases of harassment”.
Catholic Education in Paris took over from the minister, affirming that“with the exception of a single case” Who “has been processed by terminating the functions of the person concerned”, he has not “There has been no mention of possible sanctions in our exchanges with the administration or of any serious irregularity which would put the establishment in contradiction with its obligations in general, as some media have suggested.”
IVG, homosexuality, rape…

Another testimony collected, about a college catechist, parent of a student: “He spoke to us about homosexuality as an illness, and that if you felt homosexual, you had to seek treatment in a religious structure in Canada, that homosexuality came from the fact that when the pregnant mother cheats her husband or her husband cheats on his wife, the baby feels everything and is heartbroken. He also told us about sodomy. He spoke to us about rape, saying that we had to forgive the rapist and that it was difficult.”
The director of the Stanislas school, Frédéric Gautier, said Tuesday “surprised” of the publication of the report but affirmed “take note of the 14 recommendations of the report”. These “must be the subject of in-depth work with the Paris rectorate”, he said in a second press release on Wednesday. The establishment has “internally started working” on those which depend on its “responsibility”.
The challenge for the establishment is to maintain the financial advantages which govern the private sector under contract with the State, while the Paris town hall has already announced on Wednesday evening the suspension of its financing pending “clarifications”.
