Kidman and Banderas in erotic thriller “Babygirl”

In the film, Nicole Kidman plays an influential boss who has an affair with an intern. Antonio Banderas will be seen in the role of the husband.
Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (56, “The Hours: From Eternity to Eternity”) and her Spanish colleague Antonio Banderas (63, “The Legend of Zorro”) is set to take on leading roles in the erotic thriller “Babygirl”. Studio A24 announced the cast for the film. The Briton Harris Dickinson (“The Song of the Crayfish”), the Australian Sophie Wilde (“Talk to Me”) and the Frenchman Jean Reno (“Ronin”) are also on board.
The thriller revolves around an influential boss (Kidman) who has an affair with a young intern (Dickinson). Banderas plays her husband. The film is directed by Dutch actress and filmmaker Halina Reijn, who also wrote the script. She made her directorial debut with “Instinct” in 2019, followed by the horror satire “Bodies Bodies Bodies” (2022). According to Variety, filming will begin in New York this year.
