Banderas became world famous with his role as “Avenger of the Poor”. Now the actor has said who he can imagine as his successor.

Actor and director Antonio Banderas (“The Mask of Zorro”) could well imagine his British colleague Tom Holland (26) as an avenger of the poor in a black mask and cape. “He’s so energetic and funny, and he also has that spark,” said the 62-year-old in an interview with the culture portal “Comicbooks.com”. The two actors were in front of the camera together for the video game adaptation “Uncharted” (2022).

Banderas is one of the biggest European Hollywood stars. He played the character of Zorro twice, in 1998 alongside Anthony Hopkins (84). When asked if he could envision a third film, the Spanish actor replied: “If they called me to play Zorro, I would do what Anthony Hopkins did for me, which is pass the torch. “
