After several attempts that were postponed due to the pandemic, a support association for the Erich Kästner School in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn has now been launched. Udo Brieger was elected as the first chairman at the inaugural meeting. In addition, those present decided on a statute, so that the next step is to register as an association. According to its own statements, the aim of the association is “to promote in-school and extra-curricular education and training for pupils at the Erich Kästner School as well as to provide moral and material support and promotion of school events and offers of all kinds”. The support association of the elementary and middle school is still looking for members and supporters for this undertaking.
