Gabriele Lemmle, founder and head of the “Grasshoppers” hockey department at SpVgg Höhenkirchen, was elected by the delegates of the member states in a digital meeting as one of two new female members of the “Board of the European Hockey Federation” (EHF). It is a member of the leading body that controls the fate of hockey in Europe. “It is a great honor that Gabriele was not only elected to office as an absolute newcomer on the EHF stage, but also received the most votes from the three applicants in the election as a female member of the board,” says Carola Morgenstern-Meyer , President of the German Hockey Federation. “That speaks totally for you and your personal performance before the General Assembly.”
