You’ve already seen a few “Macbeth” walk the stages, scary and not so scary, scandalous and less scandalous, but certainly not as funny as this one at the Bochumer Schauspielhaus. The “Macbeth”, which has been announced and postponed several times, has exceeded the high expectations: it is brilliant. A total of three actors act on a sparsely decorated stage: Jens Harzer, Marina Galic, Stefan Hunstein. And they constantly act on a double level: as players, ironically distanced, and as played characters. The comedy results from this gap.
