High school in Erlangen closed due to bomb threat – Bavaria

After a bomb threat, Erlangen’s Albert Schweitzer High School was closed on Wednesday morning and searched with dogs. According to the police, the search ended shortly before ten o’clock without results.

Classes for the approximately 1,000 students were canceled for the entire Wednesday, the police announced. Pupils are looked after by the school and the police.

It was said that the threat was received well before class began. The police only had to take a few students out of the building before it was cordoned off. Police did not provide any further details about the threat.

It was not initially known who made the bomb threat. In addition to criminal proceedings, the perpetrator must also expect to pay for the operation, the police said.
