Herrenberg: bus crashes over the slope against discounters – panorama

After an accident in Baden-Württemberg, a bus slid down a slope and crashed with the front against a discounter facade – but the rear part got stuck on a wall at the top.

The 72-year-old driver of the bus was seriously injured after the accident and was taken to the hospital by helicopter. According to the police, on Friday afternoon in Herrenberg near Tübingen, at the exit from a bus station, he crashed into a mobile home for reasons that were initially unclear.

The bus then slid over the approximately eight-meter-deep slope and landed with the front part on the premises of the discounter. The one behind got stuck at the top of the walls. According to the police, the salvage of the wreck lasted until late in the evening. A blood sample was taken from the bus driver to determine the cause of the accident.

The 68-year-old camper driver and an employee of the discount store were reportedly slightly injured. The woman was therefore in the lounge at the time of the accident when she was hit by the shards of a broken pane of glass. According to an initial estimate, the officials put the damage to property at 115,000 euros. Experts should help in the analysis of the accident.
