It all started with a vehicle theft. The investigation led the gendarmes to seize 23 grams of cocaine and a stone of crack at the start of the year in Finistère. After several weeks of investigation, investigators managed to uncover extensive drug trafficking between Quimper and Douarnenez, we learned from the Finistère departmental gendarmerie group.
Tuesday March 26, a legal operation mobilizing 65 soldiers from the Quimper company as well as dog teams from the police and the maritime gendarmerie led to the arrest of ten individuals in four municipalities in Finistère.
Cannabis, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy…
During the searches, the police seized 370 grams of heroin, 365 grams of cannabis resin, 117 grams of cannabis branch, 80 grams of cocaine, ecstasy, weed, a stone of crack and more than 7,300 euros in cash.
At the end of their police custody, six people were incarcerated while awaiting trial before the Quimper criminal court. The four suspects were released.
