Netflix unveiled this Thursday the first image of Laurent Lafitte in Bernard Tapie’s costume. The actor will play the businessman in wonder manthe biographical series of Tristan Séguéla and Olivier Demangel currently being filmed, between Paris and the South of France.
The photo, showing Laurent Lafitte sitting at the wheel of a convertible, highlights his resemblance to the one who was president of OM.
It is moreover on the set of 16 or soa decade ago, Tristan Séguéla, who already had in mind a fiction dedicated to Bernard Tapie, realized that the actor would make a perfect interpreter for the character.
Without the agreement in principle of the person concerned
The series, whose online date has not yet been formalized, should have six episodes and could, if successful, continue in a second season.
In June, in an interview with Nice morning and Var-Morning, Bernard Tapie had let it be known that he had not given his agreement to a series about his life: “I was against it. (…) That there are documentaries is something else, but borrowing my name is a bit heavy. He died in October of cancer at the age of 78.
