He jumps into the Loire to save a man, the firefighters fish them out

The first was in difficulty in the water when the second decided to jump in to help him. Late Tuesday afternoon in Nantes, two men were rescued by firefighters while they were in the Loire, near the Général-Audibert bridge.

Around ten firefighters intervened in the river and its surroundings and took care of a man, aged 30, who was in “serious condition”, the departmental fire and rescue service reported on Tuesday evening. (Sdis).

The second, a 36-year-old man who went into the water later, was more lightly injured. The two victims were transported to Nantes University Hospital.
