A move from Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid will probably not come about despite the PSG star’s request to change. Real President Florentino Pérez has now put a stop to this.
Last spring, a move from Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid was considered almost certain. In the end, however, the French superstar decided against a move to the Spanish capital and extended his contract with Paris St. Germain. The famous tablecloth is said to have been cut up there in the meantime. Real President Florentino Pérez now spoke meaningfully.
At Real Madrid they have probably finished with the topic of Kylian Mbappé. “No, I’m not tired of the rumors about Kylian Mbappé, I don’t even read stories about Mbappé,” Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez told the Ballon d’Or ceremony RMC Sports.
And the 75-year-old continued: “We have a great future with Vinícius and Rodrygo. They can win the Ballon d’Or.”
At the beginning of the year, Mbappé is said to have been about to move to the Spanish capital, but then rejected it and extended his contract in Paris. He is said to earn 84 million euros a year on the Seine for this. In addition, the PSG star received a bonus of 125 million euros.
Recently, however, several media outlets reported that the 2018 world champion is unhappy in Paris as some promises have not been kept and he wants to leave the club as soon as possible. With Real Madrid, however, one candidate seems to have dropped out.
