Hannah Herzsprung presents “15 Years” in Munich – Munich

The Bavarian Film Awards will be presented in Munich this weekend, and one of the winners has already been chosen: Hannah Herzsprung will receive the award for best actress for her performance in “15 Years.” The film drama about a gifted and incredibly angry pianist who has served a long prison sentence and is now seeing her childhood sweetheart again opened the Hof Film Festival three months ago – it is the sequel to the film drama “Four Minutes”, which was made in 2007. This film marked Herzsprung’s breakthrough, and she was also honored for this at the Bavarian Film Prize, at the time as the “best young female talent.”

The young talent became a sought-after actress, with major cinema successes (“Who am I”, “Traumfrauen”) and prominent television roles (“Weissensee”, “Babylon Berlin”). Hannah Herzsprung was born in Hamburg and grew up on a farm in the Bavarian Oberland. That’s why she speaks beautiful Bavarian, which she sometimes demonstrates in interviews. She comes to Munich one day before the film awards ceremony: on January 18th she attends the screenings of “15 Years” at the Rio Filmpalast and the Leopold Cinema.
