Will the next former player come back? According to the “Bild” newspaper, several clubs, including FC Schalke, have set their sights on Leonardo Weschenfelder Scienza. The Brazilian, who was active for S04 between 2020 and 2022, is currently under contract with third division club SSV Ulm.
Scienza is currently having a really strong season. In 24 games he scored seven goals and prepared nine goals. He plays a big part in why the club is currently in second place and dreams of promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. Will he then play with Ulm or perhaps somewhere else?
Scienza is in high demand
In addition to FC Schalke 04, 1. FC Nürnberg, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Karlsruher SC and Fortuna Düsseldorf are also said to be very interested in Scienza. Some other third division teams also want him, but the offensive player will probably play in the 2nd Bundesliga.
If Ulm manages to get promoted, there is a good chance that he will stay there. However, if so many clubs come knocking, it will be difficult for Scienza to refuse.
