Joss Stone announced in an Instagram video that he was pregnant again six months after a miscarriage.

The British singer and actress Joss Stone (35) showed how close great joy and great sadness can be to each other in a touching clip on her Instagram account. At the beginning of the eight-minute video, which Stone posted on her 35th birthday on April 11, she clearly struggles with how to explain this dichotomy to her fans. First of all, the star reveals in tears that he suffered a miscarriage in October last year.

Even her doctor couldn’t tell her at the time why the miscarriage happened. “He said, ‘We don’t know why it happened, Joss. Sometimes these things just happen.'” But Stone said she couldn’t come to terms with that answer for a long time. “It’s a terrible thing. One that you can’t just get over, you have to live with it.”

The roller coaster of emotions

She then agreed with her doctor to meet again in spring 2022 for a routine check-up. That moment has now come, along with some wonderful news: Stone holds a positive pregnancy test up to the camera.

“That’s the beautiful part of the story. After storms there are rainbows,” she elaborates. “I can’t wait to meet my baby. I hope and pray everything is okay.” She then proudly holds the first ultrasound images of the unborn child up to the camera.

Consequences for their concerts

As of January 29, 2021, Stone is already a mother. She has daughter Violet Melissa with boyfriend Cody DaLuz. “I’m over the moon that Violet is going to have a younger sibling,” Stone writes in another Instagram post.

At the same time, she shares the consequences of the pregnancy for her upcoming concert dates. With a heavy heart, she had to cancel performances in Norway and Switzerland, others were postponed from the end of 2022 to the beginning of 2023.
